Taking good care of ourself is a continuous process. It is crucial, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Old habits of self-criticism and self-doubt creep in like water flowing downhill. We are physically isolated. It feels like prison. Freedom of movement and socializing have been taken away from us. We can’t be with friends and family, or get away from them. No hugs. This is taking its toll, as we are social animals. It is a constant effort to maintain hope. Often, we can’t. We feel this is never going to end. The silver lining of adverse conditions is to practice dharma regardless of what comes our way. Taking the difficult stuff on the path is the practice of dharma, when even HH’s feet make us smile! @kindness @gratitude
