Often, we get ahead of ourselves, moving too fast. We need to slow down. Taking several slow deep breaths helps balance our energies that underlie breathing. Deliberately slowing our walking and movements also helps. Most importantly is our mind. When it is racing, so is our energy. We must learn to control our mind, which then balances our energy. Come home. Come back to the present moment. Take a safe walk in nature. Do some taiji, chi gong, or yoga. Reduce stimulants. Get good sleep. Remember the big picture. Remember others and their suffering. Remember meditation, the best way to “come home to the present moment and live in a state of grace.”
