When we are deluged by one problem after another, we focus only on the problems, again and again and again. We forget about the good stuff. Gratitude is far from our mind, and far from our heart. Please take a few slow deep breaths and step back. See the bigger picture. Return to awareness. Remember that we are alive, and there are some positive things. Remember that all problems are impermanent. They will go away into awareness. We are purifying previous negative actions, i.e. karma. Being aware allows more space. We return to balance. We come home again to awareness.
