Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings. When you notice negative thoughts or feelings, remember the person having those thoughts or feelings doesn’t exist. It is a hallucination, projected by the mind. To go deeper rejecting this false ego, think like this: my ego must either be identical with my body and mind, or completely different. There is no other possibility. If you say both, then it is contradicted by each position. If my ego is identical with my body and mind, there is a problem — one ego, and two — body and mind. If they are completely different, there can be no relationship. Then we cannot say, “my body hurts, or my mind is sad.” KEEP DOING THIS ANALYTIC MEDITATION EVERY TIME A NEGATIVE THOUGHT ARISES. MAKE IT A HEALTHY HABIT! HAPPY SAGA DAWA!
