Pacing is so important. Going too fast zaps our energy and throws us off balance. Too much laziness breaks our stride. Balancing alertness and relaxation once again brings us back to the sweet spot. This is pacing, recognizing we are in this for a long, long, time. As HH Dalai Lama says, we are in this for eons. He means we continue returning to samsara to benefit every living being. We keep returning until the last sentient being has left samsara, attaining nirvana and enlightenment.
