Are you taking good care of yourself? Have you ever taken good care of yourself? Superficially, this means paying attention to your needs, and actualizing them when possible. It means to be aware before becoming overwhelmed, and desist. It means feeling we are valuable and deserve kindness. It also means letting go of guilt and self-doubt. Flipping the situation 180 degrees towards others having difficulty with self-care, providing them with healthy self-confidence and kindness, often shifts our poor self-care. Compassion, whether towards ourself or towards others, is the best medicine, especially when imbued with wisdom.
