Kindness towards others and kindness towards ourselves is often overlooked. We get caught up in the fast pace which stresses us out losing our mindfulness and focus on kindness. Living in the past and future we become fearful which intensifies by our floating anxiety. We believe in kindness, but forget to practice it regularly. We forget to practice kindness towards ourselves. We know how good it feels to practice kindness, yet we forget. Kindness opens our heart. It is the bedrock for caring, love and compassion. Taking care of ourselves has taken a back seat. Kindness towards ourselves is the best medicine for a positive attitude bringing us out of darkness and allowing us to flourish.
