Self-doubt eats us from the inside

Self-doubt eats us from the inside. It makes us feel uneasy at best, and anxious and depressed at the worst. Our self-critical judgment gets the best of us. It tends to infect critical judgment of others as well, just like a rotten apple at the bottom of a barrel infecting the others. Turn our attention inward and recognize self-doubt and any guilt. Observe it like a cloud passing in the sky then disappearing. Turn our self-preoccupation into concern for others. This brings strength and courage. Self-doubt withers on the vine. Inner calm, peace, and love fill the void.
