Over the last year my teeth have been restored. More than three decades living in India has taken its toll on my teeth. I now have zirconium crowns. My right upper eye tooth crown has a Sanskrit letter ‘hung’ etched into it, only noticeable from close up and shining a light. But I know it is there. ‘Hung’ means omniscience. It means the resultant state of becoming an enlightened Buddha. While I am far away from enlightenment, the etched ‘hung’ brings me inspiration helping me to remember the precious dharma.
