When you’re hot, you’re hot. When you’re not, you’re not. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t make a big difference. In the big scheme of things, what matters is concern for the welfare of others. It’s been a rough week for me with the loss of a very dear longtime friend. While it’s easy to feel sorry for myself, I try to honor my friend by remembering the pain of others and doing whatever I can to help. On a deeper level, I reflect that I am not who I think I am. I am like the sky, without borders or center, but even that is a concept, and not real. Let go, let go, let go.
