Please remember the brave people of Ukraine and help their struggle as much as you can. Donate to their humanitarian relief. These words from my heart are motivated by compassion, not politics. Compassion is the best medicine. It is not a panacea, but it gives us courage and direction in life. It brings happiness. Always being consumed by our own needs and wants is a very narrow way to live. Selfishness shrinks our heart and mind, imprisoning us in silos, separating us from others. In reality we are not separate. In fact, deeply we are all sisters and brothers. Deeply we share the same fundamental wish of being happy and free from pain. “She or he, just like me, wants to be happy and not hurt.”
