“Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.” When we awake from a dream, our dear friend in the dream vanishes. Reality is like that. When we wake up from the deception, we see everything like a dream image upon awakening. Nothing is solid and objectively real. Modern quantum physicists come to the same conclusion that nothing exists objectively. Even beginning to understand this counterintuitive wisdom opens our heart. It deflates our inflated ego. Love and compassion burst forth! With deeper cultivation of this wisdom, we live in grace, combining wisdom and Bodhicitta, continually working for the benefit of others.
