Remembering we are not who we think we are is very helpful, especially when confronted with emotional disaster. Or even minor emotional upset, or even joy. On a deeper level, this recognition opens our heart by reducing our ego-clinging. Love and compassion spew forth, filling our being, spreading out to everyone around. Eventually this unconditional love reaches out to everyone, human, animal, and all living beings. There is profound and deep satisfaction and joy in this way of living. Love is everywhere!
