Guilt brings us to our knees. It destroys any sense of self worth. It makes us feel smaller than small, tainted, and bad. It is a parasite and doesn’t belong. It is no longer an invited guest. So show it the back door. Tell yourself NO MORE GUILT. I don’t need you anymore. In Buddhism there is no concept of guilt. There is regret that is emotionally neutral and it helps us grow. There is shame that keeps us on the right tract. But there is no guilt. So say no to guilt. Please take good care of yourself. Then we are better equipped to help others.
