Shantideva in his Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life writes, “For as long as space endures, for as long as sentient beings abide, may I too abide to dispel the misery of the world.” This is the grand commitment to help all others attain enlightenment. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. This is the full form of love and compassion. Emaho!
