Spiraling down into the dumps doesn’t help anyone. Let’s try to avoid it. Remembering gratitude for being alive, our teachers, the teachings of the Buddha, good friends, etc. helps. Also thinking of others who might be spiraling down, and wishing them happiness also helps our situation – the two-way street of compassion. Preventing the blahs also helps. Taking our focus away from number one lightens our load. Love and compassion are like magic elixirs. Emaho!
