Low self-esteem runs wide and deep all over the world. It is insidious like a cancer. It eats away our confidence and happiness. Often it fuels reactivity to appear the opposite — strong and confident, while on the inside knowing this to be a sham. On the inside we feel anxious, fearful, guilty, and insecure. Remember that none of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes. Giving our self some slack and being gentle and loving towards our self is very important. It cultivates the tools for us to be gentle and loving towards others.
