Self-care and self-compassion are very important to keep ourselves healthy. Only then do we have the strength and courage to reach out to others effectively. When we go home at night having done 10 things (actually 10,000!) in the day, what do we remember and review again and again? If 8 things went well, and 2 did not, we tend to remember and revisit over and over again the 2 that did not go well. This is not taking good care of our self. Please remember the other 8 and feel good about those.
