When our loved ones or we are suddenly facing a life-threatening situation, don’t panic. Stay calm, the best you can with deep breathing and returning to the present moment. Take each day and moment as it comes. Be grateful for everything, even the next breath. Today is the shortest day of the year. Each day now becomes longer. Send love and healing energy out with each exhalation. Get done the important things that need attention. For those who are open, remember that facing death is nothing new. We’ve done it innumerable times before. Try to think of others, especially your teachers, lovingly.
