Forgiveness is powerful medicine. It is a healthy lifestyle worth living on par with healthy food, exercise, yoga, compassion, gratitude, mindfulness, and meditation. Forgiveness opens our heart both to ourself and to others. It brings peace of mind and inner happiness. We start by letting go of small hurts then move on to large ones. It is not necessary to tell the other person, although we can if we like. Just let go. Just let go. Just let go. Practicing a lifestyle of forgiveness lightens our being. We stand straighter, and feel more at ease. Our physical health as well as mental health improves. Practicing compassion becomes much easier. Life becomes more joyous.
