When we are tired and exhausted from overwork we are easy prey and low-hanging fruit for the destructive emotions, such putting our self down and loosing our self-confidence. Irritability and anger can sneak up on us. The only thing that can give us refuge or protection from the destructive effects of anger is our practice of tolerance and patience.
