Sometimes when too much is coming at us, we contract and freeze up, or maybe lash out. At times like these recognize the stress level rising, and take a short pause. Breath deeply. Trying to squeeze a square peg into a round hole just won’t go. The more we try, the more frustrated and irritated we become. We close down we feel terrible. So let go. Allow yourself some space, some big space. Remember the others who are requesting or even demanding this and that are under big stress themselves. We never know the big issues others are carrying in their hearts. This little pause is the pause that refreshes!
