Inner peace requires honesty and integrity. Without it we are lost and drift away from inner peace and happiness. Being true to our self is crucial. Transparency is what makes great leaders great. What they show on the outside is what they show at home. This is consistency based in integrity and honesty. Being true to our self also means being kind and forgiving towards our self. Humility helps to cultivate this. It is another important ingredient – to not see our self as above and better than others. It is also the ability to laugh at our self, not making fun of our self, but recognizing the mistakes we often make. Sometimes our mistakes are downright funny! So enjoy a good laugh and feel happy. We don’t need to feel we are perfect and cannot make mistakes. This is childish and foolish. We can grow up, even if we do not feel like an adult!
