The more we forgive the more we feel grateful. The more we feel grateful the more we forgive. These two — forgiveness and gratitude — are mutually supportive. They set the tone for the day that is light and joyful. Worry, anxiety, and fear are quieted. The present moment is fresh and alive. We breathe fully and relaxed. Everything sparkles. Challenges seem not so big and not so unsurmountable. Everything is “green light.” Doubt is quieted. Insecurity is quieted. New inner calm and courage take over. We feel well. We feel ready for anything! Anything! Cultivating forgiveness and gratitude are doable when we make concerted effort. Once started forgiveness and gratitude snowball, gaining more and more momentum.
