“Shake it up baby. Twist and shout.” Don’t let the negative attitudes and emotions stay around. Shake them up and kick them out. They are not helpful, in fact they are harmful. Harmful to us, and to others. “I can’t get no, s a t i s f a c t i o n, but I tried, I tried, I tried, and I tried. I can’t get no, s a t i s f a c t i o n! The world of negative emotions including ignorance we call samsara. It is never fully satisfying. There is always something missing. Even worse, they often bring pain. Pain on the physical level, on the mental level, and on the spiritual level. Please learn how to recognize them, and how to transform them into their positive opposites. Recognize anger and transform it into tolerance, patience, understanding, and compassion. Recognize jealousy and transform it into appreciation. Recognize pride and transform it into humility. And recognize ignorance and transform it into wisdom – Śūnyatā.
