When it rains, it pours. When the sun shines, it is bright and hot. When there are storms there is destruction. Regardless of the outer environment, we are cultivating an inner environment that is calm, peaceful, and shines 24/7. This is a lifelong journey, but definitely achievable. Our level of inner peace depends to a large degree on our commitment and practice. Please do not despair. We all make mistakes. These become little inner fires that encourage us with innovation and creativity to do things differently, to become whole and healthy in our body, our heart/mind, and in our spirit. The more our orientation and default state is concern for others’ wellbeing, the more our inner peace flourishes.
