Forgiveness towards ourself opens doors to tranquility and contentment. We learn to let go of the pain we’ve caused ourself. All the unnecessary self-harms are now ready to be liberated. We walk taller and breath deeper. Slowly it dawns on us that we are valuable, that our life is meaningful. Our course we have and will make mistakes. This is part of being human. We need to take mistakes in stride, and of course try to learn from them the best we can. When we go home at night and think about the day, we tend to remember the 2 things that did not go well. We forget the other 8 that went well. Please be realistic. Please be kind and gentle to yourself. Remember all 10.
