When you are feeling down, gratitude makes you feel better. When you are feeling up, gratitude makes you feel even better. Gratitude makes everything shine and sparkle like glitter. It puts a whole new feeling in to your life. It makes you smile. It makes you feel happy. It relieves anxiety and fear. It relieves self-doubt. It gives you wider perspective on your life. It brings you closer to others. It makes you feel everything is alright. Please be grateful for the Buddha and his awesome teachings that brings us to the ultimate happiness. Today is Vesak day, or Saga Dawa, the day Shakyamuni Buddha attained enlightenment in order to guide all of us to that same state of blissful omniscience.
