Goodness is often forgotten in this competitive, selfish, and greedy world. Goodness is who we are deep down inside. Many conflicting seemingly “good” activities cloud it over. We lose sight of authentic goodness. Essentially it is genuine concern for others and acting in accordance. When we remember that others just like myself want to be happy and do not want to hurt, we are cultivating goodness. When we remember others have feelings just like myself, we are cultivating goodness. Goodness is from the heart, but informed by the mind deciding the most effective action to help others.
