Forgiveness is powerful medicine. Usually we do it alone. Forgiving the other person, or yourself, from your heart. It is a personal mental activity, rarely becoming words to speak to the other person. It is liberating for ourself. As longtime hurts are dissolved, it opens our heart. We feel lighter, almost as if we could fly. We feel happier. We feel old emotional knots coming undone. A joy fills our heart that radiates outward and colors our experience with happy colors. Others feel it, even the birds start singing!
