Our motivation and attitude are crucial, but rarely considered. We just go along without thinking of our motivation, and without setting a positive motivation. This makes much of what we do meaningless, or even harmful. Right from when we wake up in the morning, sit up in bed and set your motivation to benefit all others in the best possible way. What is the best way to help others? It is to bring them to enlightenment, where there are no more obstacles, and all wholesome qualities are actualized. How can we do this? By becoming enlightened ourself. Then we can guide all others. This is our motivation. Throughout the day, try to remember and refresh this motivation. Then everything becomes meaningful.
