We must go home and flourish there to be able to flourish outside for others. Going home means finding that safe, warm, blissful “place” inside our chest. It is unconditional love. It is profound wisdom of who we really are. It is always available once we find it. It is free. It is completely confidential. It is our true home. It is the most precious gem. How can we find it? How can we nourish it? How can we polish it and dust off the dirt? It all begins with caring for ourself. It all begins with kindness towards ourself. It all begins with a warm loving hand on our cheek. It all begins at the end of the day remembering not only the stuff we didn’t feel good about, but also remembering the stuff that went well. It is pure love.
