Maintaining a direction for our life keeps us centered and brings meaning. As distraction is our default, reset your motivation several times during the day, to stay focused. Start the day with setting your motivation. End the day by reviewing your day from the perspective of your motivation. The most expansive motivation is to become enlightened in order to guide others to become enlightened. In simple terms, this means to serve others towards their own happiness. The more we move towards enlightenment, the better service we can provide. Nevertheless, we do the best we can. Not all of our actions of thoughts, words, and behavior, will fall within our motivation. Paying attention to our motivation helps to redirect our often chaotic actions towards the direction of enlightenment. Enjoy HH as a young man.
