We are not separate from the environment. The environment is not separate from us. We are not separate from the earth, water, and sky. The earth, water, and sky are not separate from us. You are not separate from me. I am not separate from you. The animals, fish, and birds are not separate from me. I am not separate from the animals, fish, and birds. Why do we get frightened and think there is separation? Why do we become defensive and think there is us and them? Please be aware of your attitudes and correct these gross mistakes. It does not mean we are identical. Rather that we are interconnected. We depend on each other, whether it is other human beings, animals, fish, birds, trees, soil, water, or air. We are all connected. We are not separate.
