We have been on an emotional roller coaster for several months. How are you holding up? Are you able to maintain sanity, at least most of the time? This is a real test of our practice. Can we maintain balance during all the pandemic upheavals? How can we stay centered with all the news of doom and gloom? When challenges are tough, the tough get going. Toughness is healthy self-confidence fueled by compassion, concern for others. Less me, me, me, narrow focus. Broadening our focus to include others by thinking about them often, opening our heart to them, to be ready to reach out (virtually) when the opportunity arises. This way we maintain our sanity and balance.
