Compassion is the ticket. It is best approach to fighting injustice, the best approach to helping others, and the best approach to our own deeper happiness. Every living being has been our kind mother in the past. Now in this life, they are challenged, facing so many difficulties. Yet we are not different. We all want the same thing, to be happy and not in pain. This selfish attitude we cherish so dearly has brought nothing but disappointment and hurt. While cherishing others is the source of our deeper wellbeing and happiness. Recognizing this, make a firm commitment to see others more important than yourselves. This is not putting yourself down, rather it is putting others up, since they are so many, and we are only one. It is counter-intuitive, but this attitude of raising others actually raises our own life to be meaningful.
