In today’s world, mind is a mystery. It is always present, right in front of us just like the glasses on our face! Yet we miss it. It is all of our experience. As we are always focused outside through our senses, we miss it. There are 6 primary minds, 5 related to perception and outward focus through the 5 senses of seeing, hearing, etc. The 6th mind directs us to our inner life of emotions, thoughts, feelings, etc. More deeply it is intuition, dream mind with the senses inactive, prescience knowing the future, etc. Study and experience of the mind needs to be taught in school. Sit quietly. Let thoughts, sensations, and feelings pass through without clinging to them. Let things settle. Take several slow deep breaths through the nose. Relax. Just observe, nothing else. You don’t have to do anything, just be.
