When our mind spirals down, be aware of it. Move it to compassion, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, tolerance, generosity, and wisdom. We all, yours truly included, have negative thoughts. The trick is, NOT TO FOLLOW THEM. Just let them go, replacing them with positive ones, ideally their counterparts. The counterpart to anger and fear is tolerance, patience, and compassion. The counterpart to self-doubt is compassion, towards ourself, radiating out to others, and courage. The counterpart to arrogance is humility and healthy self-confidence putting no one down.
