Forgive ourself and be kind to ourself again and again

With all the uncertainty and interpersonal conflict we see daily watching the news, it is no wonder we feel frightened, and want to reign in the wagons for protection. Feeling vulnerable is uncomfortable, to say the least. When everything seems so out of control, we yearn for control, for a return to “normal.” During these unprecedented challenging times it is paramount that we take good care of ourselves. Forgive ourself and be kind to our ourself again and again. This is our foundation for sanity and wellness. Remember we are not alone. There are nearly 8 billion other human beings, most of whom are facing similar, if not worse situations. Most are frightened, many are sick, and some are dying. Our hearts go out to all of them as members of one human family, as brother and sisters, sharing this threatened planet.
