Let’s open 2021 by following in the footsteps of the Buddha. When the Buddha was born he took 8 steps. Each step flowered into a lotus. Let us take our first 7 steps cultivating compassion through the six perfections. First, generosity. Second, morality. Third, tolerance. Fourth, joyous effort. Fifth, concentration. Sixth, wisdom. Seventh, Bodhicitta. Eighth, both conventional and ultimate Bodhicitta. @dalailama @kindness Happy new year wishing good health and joy to all mother sentient beings. May 2021 be much much much better than 2020.
