Anxiety and fear is on the rise. We are shutting down into selfish pursuits trying to find happiness through unsatisfying pleasure. We compulsively need more and more, like a fix. Cynicism and negativity are strangling us, spiraling us down further. Despair seeps in and we loose hope. Suicide is on the rise. Let’s tip the balance away from extreme self-centeredness to concern for others. Start by thinking about those ‘others’ who are experiencing the same downward spiral. Send them self-confidence, inner peace, and love. Open our heart, and open theirs. Shift the focus away from ‘me’ to ‘others.’ Find the love perspective and open our heart. This is the best medicine.
