Amazing grace!

“Amazing grace! how sweet the sound; that saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found; was blind, but now I see.” These moving words of the song Amazing Grace are expressions of personal experience of the poet and clergyman John Newton in the late 1770’s when he nearly drowned in a storm at sea. It was a Christian hymn, but is more widely applicable. Grace is delicious, such a sweet sound. It brings meaning and joy, allowing us to see the deeper beauty and ecstasy. A state of grace comes when we see the light. When we experience and taste the joy of love bathed in wisdom of nonattachment.
